Paulovkin Boglárka
A MOME tervezőgrafika szakán végzett 2002-ben. Első autonóm grafikái az ÉS folyóiratban jelentek meg. Alapítója az Aranyvackor gyerekkönyvíró és illusztrátor versenynek, amelynek célja új tehetségek felfedezése a magyar gyerekkönyvkiadás számára. Számos magyar könyvkiadónál tervezett, illusztrált gyerekkönyveket. Saját mesehősei: Katica, aki elveszítette a pöttyeit, Róka és Egér, akik új otthont kerestek és találtak, valamint Guriga nyuszi, aki elbújt.
Graduated as a graphic designer from University of the Arts MOME in 2002. Her autonomous graphics first appeared on the pages of literary and public live magazins. She's also one of the founders of the children's book writer and illustrator competition Aranyvackor, aimed at discovering new talents for the Hungarian children's book publishing. She works for many Hungarian publishing company, as designer or author/ illustrator of children's books. Her tale heroes: Katica (Ladybird), who lost her dots, Fox and the Mouse, who looking for and found a new home and Guriga bunny who hid.

A tanítói és a rajztanári diploma megszerzése után végül a professzionális grafika művelése mellett döntöttem: a MOME-n szereztem tervezőgrafikus végzettséget 2003-ban. Bár a dizájn minden formája közel áll hozzám, a szakmán belül elsősorban a könyvekre, ott is a gyerekkönyvekre specializálódtam. Számos könyvet illusztráltam, és néhányat írtam magam is, A katicabogár elveszett pöttyei című volt az első. Megrögzött híve vagyok a valódi képeskönyveknek, amelyek nagyon jól fejlesztik a vizuális intelligenciát, tükrözik a kor aktuális látványvilágát, és kétszer is fontossá válnak egy kisgyerek életében: először, amikor a könyvekkel ismerkedik, két-három évesen, másodszor pedig, amikor megtanul olvasni, és éppen ilyen kép-szöveg arányt tud kényelmesen befogadni az önálló olvasás során. Tanítottam alsó- és felső tagozatban, középiskolában és művészeti akadémián, egyetemen is: én úgy érzem, hogy minden szinten végső soron ugyanazt: érteni és élvezni, tudatosan használni a vizualitás nyelvét. Három gyermeket nevelek férjemmel a Zsámbéki medence egyik kis falujában - legnagyobb fiunk már kirepült a családi fészekből.
After graduating as visual culture teacher, I finally decided to move towards professional graphics: I obtained university diploma as graphic designer from MOME in 2003. Although all forms of design are close to me, I got specialised in children's books. I have illustrated a number of books, and I wrote a few of them. The first issue was the Lost Spots of the Ladybird. I firmly believe, that real picture books develop visual intelligence very well, reflect the current visual world of the age, and become important at least twice in the life of a young child: first, when they get familiar with books at the age of two to three, and second, when children learn to read and they can conveniently handle such picture-text ratios in their own reading rhythm. I taught lower and upper classes, high school and art academy, also at university: I feel that on each level, ultimately, the same thing is the most important: to understand and enjoy the conscious use of the language of visualisation. I raise three children with my husband in a small village not too far from Budapest - our fourth son, the oldest has fled from the family nest.
